Who is responsible
[seller name], [seller address], runs Mudi Teach and is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: [support email].
What we collect
From the parent: name, email, country and a password (kept only as a hash). For each student: a display name, grade, country, and the month and year of birth.
While a student learns: which lessons they watch, their answers, what they draw or write, and the text of their conversations with Mudi. We do not keep recordings of a student’s voice: speech is turned into text as it is spoken.
Why we use it
To run lessons, remember progress, show it to the parent, keep students safe, take payments, prevent abuse and improve the lessons. We do not sell personal data, and we do not show advertising to students.
Who else handles it
Our hosting provider stores the data. So that Mudi can listen and explain, lesson audio and text are processed by AI providers (Google, and Alibaba as a backup).
Payments are handled by Creem, which receives the parent’s payment details and email. We never see card numbers. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
Safety checks
Conversations are checked automatically for signs that a student may be unsafe. A flagged message can be read by a person on our team, and for serious concerns the parent may be told.
How long we keep it
We keep the account, the progress and the text of conversations while the account exists, so the parent can follow progress. When an account is deleted we delete its personal data, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Cookies and storage
At the moment we use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser’s storage to remember progress and language on that device. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your or your child’s data by emailing [support email]. We reply within 30 days.
Children
Mudi Teach is for school students, with a parent or guardian in charge of the account. A parent can ask us to delete a student’s data at any time.
Security and changes
Connections use HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure: if you notice a problem, tell us at [support email]. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the site.
